I grew up in Volga and graduated from Sioux Valley Schools in 1992. I went to college at Dakota State University. I graduated in 1996 with degrees in Elementary Education and Special Education with a K-12 computer endorsement. I started as a teacher assistant at Sioux Valley School in August of 1996. Then in August of 1997, I started my teacher career. In my fifteen years at Sioux Valley, I taught most grade levels from 1st grade through 6th grade. In the summer of 2008, I started graduate school in Curriculum and Instruction for Higher Education at SDSU! In August of 2012, I made a move to 3rd grade at Hillcrest School. I actually student taught at Hillcrest School 19 years ago. In June 2014, I made another move to Camelot School due to Hillcrest running out of space for 3rd Grade! I am loving Camelot. I loved Camelot so much that I decided to stay. This is my third year in 4th grade at Camelot, and I am loving it!
After college graduation, I married my husband in August of 1996. My husband and I started our own business, Stoltenberg Homes, in November of 2009. In January of 1999, our son, Brennan Scott Stoltenberg, was born. He loves his sports: basketball, track, friends, and football. Then in February of 2003, we added our second born child, Tessa Wanda Stoltenberg. She loves track, singing, Oral Interp, FCCLA, and friends. Our newest addition to our family was Berkley Kay Stoltenberg born August of 2009! She loves the outdoors, soccer, and gymnastics.
